Astronomy day 2006 took place on February 18, at Gaston Caperton Center of Fairmont State University in Clarksburg, WV. Event was free to the public and included making of craters and spectroscopes from Pringle cans for kids, hands on telescopes, photos and videos of the night sky, astrophotography class, Star Lab Planetarium and was A LOT OF FUN! Special treat was a presentation of our guest speaker Mark "Indy" Kochte on Fuse project and update on Hubble Space Telescope status. Special thanks to Dominion Resources for co-sponsoring the event.
